This directory was started as a side-site to Alt fashion in 2007, after our links page was getting significantly larger every week.

Here we link up the hundreds of UK alternative clothing sites, & shops; from corsetry, to band merchandise, & vintage clothing.

Heres how it works

You'll find the Shops, & Sites categories to the left of the screen.

If it's shops in your local area, or a city that you are visiting that you are after, simply click the country and area that you are visting. For example for Manchester click 'North England', or for 'Cardiff' click Wales.

There you'll find a list of towns, & cities in that country, where you can then find a list of shops to visit in the area.

Or if it's sites that you are after then simply browse through the categories relevant to the sort of items you're looking for.

For example for alternative footwear you'll find the 'shoes' subcategory under 'alternative', or visit 'shoes' for sites solely stocking a wide range of footwear.

We also list sites under various subcategories, from 'plus size', to 'kids clothing'; & listings of sites stocking well-known alternative make up, & hair dye brands under 'cosmetics'.
